Benefiting from the Boom in Blogging

You are in for a treat! We are experiencing a new way of connecting with people called Blogs. A Blog, or Web Log, is a way to have a conversation with people all over the world through the Internet.

The real beauty of this is that you can create and use a Blog, even if you're not very technical. If you can type in a word processing package like Microsoft Word, you can use a Blog. All you do to use a Blog is open your Internet Browser, type in the message you want, and click on the "Publish" button. It really is that easy.

Listen to this TeleSeminar I recently presented that explains in detail what is going on with Blogs, the Blogging movement and how you can get invovled immediately at no charge. Check out the other information on this website as well. You'll be pleased you did and be thrilled with what you can do with it.

To Better Listen To The Recording

Follow along with the PowerPoint that is included with this TeleSeminar.
It is available online at:

http://terrysstuff.com/Blog/BlogTel_files/frame.htm

As you listen and click with the PowerPoint presentation you'll see and retain more of the information.

Listen to the Audio TeleSeminar

Listen here if you have High Speed Access to the Net (DSL, Cable-Modem, Broadband, etc.). Listen to the audio with this SonicMemo tool for smooth, clear audio. Click the "Play" button to the right and you'll hear the sounds (make sure your speakers are turned on!).

Time: 59 Min 35 Sec.

Or, you can listen to the audio for Low-Speed Connection (Dial-Up) with SonicMemo. The quality is not as good as on the high-speed option but you should be able to hear it without the "start and stop" that happens when you try to listen to streaming audio or video on a slower connection speed. Click the "Play" button to the right and you'll hear the sounds (make sure your speakers are turned on!).

Time: 59 Min 35 Sec.

With this option, you can download for later listening. (You can see I'm big on having lots of options!) You can Right-Click on the "Play Audio" button and select "Save Target As..." with Internet Explorer to save it to your hard drive for later listening. If you're using a Mac, use Ctrl-Click to access the file. Once you save the file on your disk (takes a little while to download) you can listen to it on your computer or press it as a CD or listen to it on your portable audio player. Enjoy!

Time: 59 Min 35 Sec.

Some Additional Websites For You

Here is a link to a couple of websites that Laura Brown mentioned during the TeleSeminar.

Both of the sites below reference websites which discuss how to build your own video prompter. This would be good if you're planning to do a lot with video blogging:

Check them out and see if that approach would make sense for you.

I mentioned a software package that I'm using for Video Blogging. It is called Visual Communicator and is available from a company called Serious Magic in Folsom, Califormia. You can find out about it at:

www.seriousmagic.com

and it will provide you an abundant source of information about how this new technology can assist you in your work.

In addition to using Visual Communicator for videos on-line I use a tool from TechSmith in Okemos, Michigan called Camtasia. This is a brilliant package for capturing PowerPoint presentations on your computer (including voice) and anything you can show on your computer screen. It is an amazing product and a must-have for trainers and speakers.

These tools can help you build your "information factory" so you can deliver your message to the Internet and thus millions of potential customers. Get the tools you need and start using them today. You'll be glad you did!

Thank you for joining me for this Blogging Brief (have to continue using alliterations, right?)
