Comment to Russ Consentino, Yes, I know what you mean. Most sane people wouldn’t do all three audio, video and text! However, I’ve never been accused of being sane!! Don’t do all three every week. However, have the ability to do more than just text. Have a quick webcam you can use. Create a quick audio file. That rich multi-media presentation delivery option givesyou the ability to stand out in a crowd of every other competitor sending simply text (how 20th Century!). Thanx for your comments. Terry

Your message was inspiring, but realistically, who has time to send our messages out in 3 formats? As a Manufacturer’s Rep, I’m under more pressure than ever to perform, which means more time in front of clients and less time at a desk. For now, I’ll stick to the written word.

Terry, hi–
You mean I should be communicating with something other than my #2 pencil? Well then, you’ll be glad to know that I bought an IBM Selectric Typewriter the other day, so now I have the best and latest word processing equipment (a term I heard recently) available. Isn’t it wonderful how that little ball of type jumps around and around! I’ll be the envy of my competitors, for sure.

Pls help me on this, though. The phone company says it can’t find a replacement for my worn out rotary dial phone. Has something changed on this?

Gotta run now. The drug store says that the film I sent in 10 days ago is ready now. Wow, they are fast! I hope that at least 60% of the shots turned out OK.

Oh, wait. . .I just watched your video. Guess I will have to put the rabbit ears away and sell my Philco TV.

Gosh, life has moved so fast recently. Suppose I better read your stuff some more. A friend said I could even listen to you on Eye-Pod, whatever that is.

We’d better get together soon, Terry. Somehow, my business is slipping. One client sounded funny when I told him I would send a telegram to confirm our contract. Think he doesn’t know about Western Union yet?

Wow. If I didn’t know better I’d think I was listening to Earl Nightengale on that audio.

Great to see you practicing what you preach – give the customer what he/she wants. In this case, we get to choose from 3 different modalities! Love it.

All points are excellent but #4 was my favorite. “Spend quality time with wonderful people”

I would a 6th .Plunge Right IN! – If you have a great idea and able to live with the risk involved, just plunge right in! Results only happen if you take action. Most of the time our fears are unfounded. If things don’t happen the way you plan, you either found a goldmine or you learn a valauble lesson. Either way, you come out a winner!
